Nidecker Tape Deck 2027 Snowboards

Inspired by the golden age of freestyle, the Tape Deck takes the best of 90s design – true twin, wide waist, steep kick – and pairs it with modern technology. Spin easier, butter better, and jib the crap out of that picnic bench. Trad camber delivers reliable edge control and spring-loaded pop, while the featherweight core keeps it feeling light-footed from park laps to street setups. Rewind and turn it up. - Steep kick at the nose and tail echoes classic 90s twins, reducing the swing weight and letting you jam the board into butters, presses and wallrides. - The Tape Deck's camber profile gives you maximum control on the in-run and explosive ollie power off the lip. - Carbon inlays are added towards the nose and tail to dampen chatter and give your ollies more snap.

So this is a tricky area. A lot of variation based on riding style, ability, gender; some boards your ride a little shorter or longer than standard. But use this chart as a good basis, and feel free to get in touch about any specific board sizing for your needs.
To decide between two sizes, choose the smaller size if your priority is maneuverability and freestyle performance, choose the larger size if you're focused on riding fast and powder performance. A shorter board will be easier to turn and a longer board will offer better float and stability riding off-piste.
