SideKick

UltraLightCore
A 1:2 blend of Poplar and Paulownia that delivers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio.

UltraGlide S
A premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for our high-end models. A higher-grade P-Tex means that this base material is equal parts tough as nails and fast as hell.

Triax Laminate
Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and incredibly responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.

D.S.T. Super Tubes
D.S.T (Dual Super Tube™) - This means that there is a Super-Tube™ on running vertically alongside each rail of the snowboard - providing more pop and snap.

Carbon Stringers
Carbon is incredibly lightweight and delivers explosive pop, quick edge response, and exceptional dampening at high speeds. By incorporating carbon fiber stringers into the board’s construction, we can fine-tune the flex and elevate your ride to the next level. We strategically place carbon stringers in specific areas of the board to fine-tune the feel of each model.

StepDown Rails
A thinner sidewall alongside the edge of the snowboard creates a lighter-weight package and allows for a more direct transfer of power between the wood core and your edges.

Free Freight is offered on New Zealand deliverable orders of over $300.

Our shipping rates are based on the cost of your combined purchases.

As a general rule, orders will be dispatched from our Queenstown store, on the next business day after payment is received. Sometimes, we might achieve same day dispatch, however this is not guaranteed.

All orders are freighted via standard security freight, utilising several different Third Party couriers. The courier/s used will depend on the product ordered and the delivery address. Freight for destinations outside of normal regions, should be negotiated prior to dispatch.

Click and Collect - With online purchases, the customer has an option to personally collect from our NZSHRED store at 19 Shotover Street, Queenstown. These purchases are freight & handling free-of-charge.

Please note all solid Watersports boards (eg: Paddleboards, Surfboards, Wakeboards & Wakeskates) are generally Click and Collect ONLY. We can on occasions quote on freighting of these to New Zealand destinations. This cost will be 100% incurred by the customer.

So this is a tricky area. A lot of variation based on riding style, ability, gender; some boards your ride a little shorter or longer than standard. But use this chart as a good basis, and feel free to get in touch about any specific board sizing for your needs.

To decide between two sizes, choose the smaller size if your priority is maneuverability and freestyle performance, choose the larger size if you're focused on riding fast and powder performance. A shorter board will be easier to turn and a longer board will offer better float and stability riding off-piste.
